what approached him was something familiar in a lot of online games, an elf girl. guess even here those were going to be a somewhat popular choice for people to pick. still he had to admit her avatar was really cute and that it did pinch a little that she was comparing hers to his own. comparing the two yeah his looked like it had a lot of work done on it to get it just right, and there in line was the biggest difference between the two.

"trust me i wish i'd gone with something more simple. took me almost an hour to decide on an eye color alone. i love creating characters but the whole process can eat a dick know what i mean?" seriously if there was a way he could just project his ideas into a game he'd be all for that. "besides yours is really good. elf archer right? classic. so ya meeting up with a few friends or what?"

that was the initial plan for kaz as well but since he took to long everyone else started without him. it was no problem to him as he could just find other people to play with. that was the whole point of an mmo game after all! "if not...wanna party up for a few levels? kinda get the hang of the game an all that?"

Weather_girl couldn't believe it had taken her this long just to get the horns right. She'd been tied between beautiful and intricate antlers covered in pretty flowers and diving right into curled and intimidating.[break][break]

By the end of it, when she'd added all of the finishing touches and made sure her fangs were cute but still a little scary, she stepped through the portal and out the other side. And then suddenly several other people were there and the world looked so wide open and.. real.[break][break]

She takes a deep breath as she turns to examine her surroundings. Menus pop up over each and every characters head, but the sight of a very large tiger-man catches her eye. That attention lingers when the name above the avatar reads 'Yiffgod69'.[break][break]

Weather_girl's hand brushes her cloak to the side as she hurries towards him and a pretty elf ranger. The woman's username doesn't ring a bell, so she offers her a warm smile as she stands next to her. A wave encapsulates her sense of awe as she addresses Yiffgod69 more formally.[break][break]

"You look incredible!"

"eh look at my name. it ain't exactly creative in my circle so-" just as he pointed up to where he thought his visible username would show up a familiar voice reached his ears. his tiger ears flicked as well. joining them was a rather cute avatar with horns and fangs and she seemed to recognize the giant tiger somehow. it wasn't until the username of this new girl did kaz understand who they were.

"oh hey ya made it! this here is my buddy! got her to join in on the fun as well!" kazimir wrapped a large furry arm around stormy's avatar-weather-girl (that was adorable) and pulled her close into a hug and a smile. of course it all became a little loose when the wood elf mentioned about not wanting to intrude since the two of them were already acquainted with.

"ah no its alright if ya join us. that's what these kinda games are for, more people with ya the better you are!" he was no gaming addict but he understood the basics of how to survive in an mmo. the more the merrier was always the better option after all. "so its fine if she comes with us right stor-uh...weather girl. right?" was he supposed to use their usernames in speech? it felt a little...weird.

Oh my God, his ears could move. Her voice beckons his attention and she literally witnesses him catch it in the cups of his tiny tiger ears. She nearly laughs, but nearly chokes on how strangely satisfied she found herself being. Like she was already fond of this avatar of his.[break][break]

Kazimir greets her and Stormy grins, better displaying the fangs she had added to her avatar. And then she's stepped too close to him and she finds her face buried in his chest fur and armor as his arm wraps around her shoulder and pulls her in abruptly. He's hugging her and she's choking on fur and embarrassment, but even still a smile creases her cheeks.[break][break]

When she finally wrestles herself out of his embrace, she places a warm hand on his forearm and spits hair from her mouth before turning back to address the Woodelf woman that now appeared visibly uneasy with their public display of affection.[break][break]

"He's a hugger, but don't worry about it."[break][break]

She chuckles, before extending a hand for the woman to shake.[break][break]

"We'd love to have you, Woodelf! If that's what you'd prefer us call you. The more the merrier, right? Besides, if there's three of us banded together, it's less likely those player killers will target us. Trust me, I've seen way too many names appear in the side bar. The game's only just opened!"[break][break]

Kazimir stumbles over her name and Stormy looks visibly confused - suddenly unsure whether it's more appropriate to refer to each other as their screen names or as their actual names.

the tiger let out a toothy grin at all of the compliments thrown his way. maybe it was his size that made all the hugging sort of awkward but in a good way. either way he was pretty glad that stormy was all for inviting their new friend along as well as said friend not feeling like they'd be intruding. "alright then woodelf, weather gal, let's get going!

with that decree kazimir pointed forward and onto their next adventure...only to bring his hand back to his own and rub them in embarrassment as his ears dropped despite his smile still going on strong. "uh...anyone have any idea what to do first actually? i think i skimmed through most of the tutorial."

Stormy gives the girl a look that reads 'are you serious?' and she shakes her head.[break][break]

"Yeah man, people are ruthless. The moment they find out there's a PVP mode that enables senseless murder without the repercussions, you really think people won't take advantage of it? Hell, there's probably rewards for it!"[break][break]

She sighs, shaking her head once again at the concept. But there's also a flicker in her eyes, like a hunger. If there were rewards for player killing, perhaps it wasn't such a bad idea. Maybe these other players had it right, and were playing the game the way it was meant to be played.[break][break]

The woman's more morbid thoughts are quickly dashed by Kazimir's enthusiasm. He initiates their adventure but it very quickly comes to an and when he realises he has no idea what he's doing. The tiger mentions a tutorial and Stormy glances over her shoulder.[break][break]

"You... mean that? There? With the Wobbufet dummies? You do realise we can just backtrack, right?"[break][break]

She reaches instinctively for Woodelf's hand, lacing fingers with hers as she tugs her along. Her other hand laces with Kazimir's as she guides them back. [break][break]

"The tutorial's here for a reason, we may as well take advantage of it."

his tail slowly dips between his own legs as he's led back towards the training dummies that looked like silly wobbafets. oh right. they were in the starting area since they just logged into the game for the first time. "oh right. i might have also skimmed the manual on how to play this class." now he was just embarrassed about all of this.

he watched wood elf take out her weapon and figured he should do the same. "well...i picked brawler so...i mostly used my hands for fighting mobs. good thing i got these though." that's when some old looking brass knuckles showed up on his paws. their shape a little awkward for big furry and meaty pawpads but he still managed to grip them pretty tightly.

"all that boxing training's gonna pay off today. hyah!" he went up to one of the dummies excitedly and started to give it a few jabs making it bounce back and forth on itself. then he remembered one of his skills and cupped his hands together and a ball of light appeared between them before it launched at the dummy. "holy cow! i think that was an aura sphere! i'd recognize that move anyday!"

If Stormy was being honest, she hadn't looked at anything but the types available for each class. She had been blind to anything but the fire-typing of the mage, and had been floored when she realised she'd picked easily one of the weakest in terms of brute strength and health.[break][break]

That, and she hadn't at first noticed that she was given the ice-typing as well for future moves. Disgusting.[break][break]

As they approach the dummies, the mage watches the ranger take out her bow. She seems to handle it expertly, as if it were second nature. For a moment she wondered if she looked that regal and powerful brandishing her tiny wand. It sits at her hip and she glances at it.[break][break]

Kazimir brings out his brass knuckles and Stormy feels her own fingers clench as if imagining herself wielding the weapons. Could she have fit into the brawler role?[break][break]

And then the tiger-man begins to lay into the dummies, punching them so hard they come swinging back with more momentum into an even stronger punch. That is, until he blasts it nearly off its anchor with an aura sphere. Stormy blinks in surprise before melting into her own character manual.[break][break]

Mystical fire? Hell yes.[break][break]

She wraps her fingers around her wand and points it at a different dummy, watching in revelation and excitement as the words fall off her tongue with ease. [break][break]

"Hell yes!"[break][break]

And then the dummy is set on fire.
